An unrestricted fund can address ever-changing community needs, including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time the fund is created. The foundation will evaluate all aspects of community well-being—arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health, and human services, neighborhood revitalization, and more. The flexibility of unrestricted gifts enables each community foundation to respond to the community’s most pressing needs, today and tomorrow.

BCCII Operating Fund – This fund is used to operate the Bird City Century II Development Foundation.

Community Initiative Fund – This is an unrestricted endowment fund from which the Foundation Board of Directors makes its general and strategic grants each year.
