A designated fund allows the donor to support the good work of their most valued qualified charitable organization. A donor may direct gifts to a specific charitable nonprofit organization—either for unrestricted use or with guidelines. One may designate funding to a senior center, museum, church, or any qualifying nonprofit charitable organization. The named designee is the sole recipient of all grant funding.
Bird City 150th Celebration Fund – This fund was setup to support the public and charitable entities in Bird City to host a 150th birthday celebration in the year 2035.
Bird City-Cheyenne County Clinic Fund – The clinic fund was set up to raise money for a new clinic in Bird City Bird. Donations will be distributed to Cheyenne County Hospital with BCCII advisory committee approval and must be used only for the Bird City Clinic.
Business Incubator Fund – This fund makes low-interest loans to small businesses in Bird City, either start-up or expansion, through a revolving loan fund.
Cheylin Early Childhood Development Fund – This fund established by the Bird City Century II Development Foundation, supports Cougar Cub Daycare operations through annual distributions based on the foundation’s spending policy.
Cheylin Little Learners Endowment Fund – This fund supports early childhood education at Cheylin USD 103.
Cheyenne County E-Community Fund – The E-Community Fund was established to support business development efforts in Bird City, St. Francis, and within the Cheylin community boundaries, with entrepreneurial focus.
Cheylin Schools Foundation Fund – This fund helps the school cover key expenses when budgets fall short, ensuring continued support for students and programs.
Thresher Association Endowment Fund – The fund was created to establish the Thresher Show Endowment, offering donors an additional way to support the Thresher Show. Grants from this endowment will help preserve and sustain the event for generations to come.
