Donor Advised Funds

The donor or donor’s family can have ongoing involvement in the use of the gift. The foundation works at identifying ways to use dollars from the Donor Advised Fund (DAF). This type of fund addresses the issues and needs the fundholder cares about most. Advisor’s recommendations are submitted for approval; we then distribute grant dollars.

C.W. & Sandra Antholz Fund – This fund is set up for charitable purposes as set forth in the Bylaws of the Community Foundation. The fund is intended to help the cities of Bird City and McDonald.

Helen Brubaker Immanuel United Methodist Church Outreach Fund – This fund was created to distribute for outreach projects identified by its Outreach Committee. Distributions require written approval from key church officers and supporting meeting minutes.

Robert Brubaker Family Fund – Robert Brubaker, one of the original founders of the Foundation, retired from the Board of Directors in 2009. To honor Robert for his years of service and commitment to the community, the Foundation Board of Directors established a Donor-Advised Fund in his name. Since its establishment, he and his family members have contributed to this fund to further support the causes Robert cared about most.

Jim and Cindy Leach Family Fund – These funds are available for distribution in line with the charitable purposes set out in the Community Foundation’s Bylaws. Distributions require written guidance from Jim Leach and Cindy Leach.
