Dawn Miller, owner of Designs by Dawn, is very easy to get along with and has always loved cosmetology. Specializing in foiling techniques and razor cutting, Dawn can do just about anything for your needs including a line of Aquage products and styling for sale.
Since she was younger, it was known she would be a beautician. Fashion, make-up, and most of all, hair, have always been interests of Mrs. Miller’s. Also a creative person, Mrs. Miller has always worked hard to satisfy her customers as she has since the past.
Dawn is a graduate of Cheylin High School and also Goodland Vo-Tech. Dawn’s first job in cosmetology was at the Clip n’ Curl in Goodland which she performed right after graduating from Vo-Tech.
She then traveled to Dallas, Texas, where she worked at Hair by Maxx. While in Texas, Dawn decided to attend American Airlines Travel Academy for three months. After completing the Travel Academy she was able to go on tours and work as a travel agent.
Dawn came back to Bird City in 1993 working for Styles by Ayre. Dawn bought the business in 1997 and later moved it near her home at 117 West 2nd. Dawn is fond of the small town and thinks it is a good place for her husband, Brian and her to raise their two girls, Montana and Kelsey.
